Google Analytics 4 (GA4) will soon replace Google Analytics (GA) as the current method for collecting analytics on web site visitors.
Google is ending support for Google Analytics (GA) in July 2023. If you currently use GA it is important to setup GA4 in parallel to ensure that your analytics data continues to be collected. If you don’t currently have Google Analytics we recommend you connect your site to GA4 now so that you have data available for future analysis. The GA4 service by Google is free. Data not collected is lost forever.
